About
My Story
My name is Simone King, and I am an Economist. This has been a dream of mine since 2014! I love learning, and I’m excited for you to see my display of projects. While I have reached my goal, in true “Simone fashion”, I have raised the bar.
Why did I choose Economics? Well, one day while being forced to watch the news as a teen, I watched a speech by the Late Rt. Honourable Owen Arthur. His speech captivated me, and once I heard he was an Economist, it sealed my decision then and there. Initially, however, I wanted to be an accountant, and I partially held onto that dream a bit longer until my undergrad, when I realized I was far more interested in my econ classes than accounting.
